Since 2017, we at Smart Dimmer Brand have been working on developing smart switches, ranging from single pole to 3-way, and from dimmers to fan control. Our goal is to provide reliable and affordable IoT devices to our users.

Our first smart dimmer, the MJ-SD01, gained wide popularity among our users due to its compatibility with a variety of lamps. Based on the feedback we received, we have continuously upgraded our design, incorporating features such as night light, auto dimmer, calibration, and 3-way functionality. As a result, we have been able to win over more and more users.

What sets our products apart is our commitment to listening to our users. When they expressed a need for a night light feature, we provided it. When they wanted to integrate our devices with their home automation systems via MQTT, we pre-flashed our devices with Tasmota firmware.

We believe that IoT devices can truly make our lives easier and more energy-efficient. This belief is what drives us to do what we do.

After more than a year of design and optimization, we have released four smart dimmer switches, each with a host of new features that set them apart from similar products on the market.

There are two main types of dimmers: leading edge and trailing edge, collectively known as phase cutting dimmers. Leading edge dimmers were originally used for dimming incandescent and halogen lamps, while trailing edge dimmers are better suited for powering LED lights.

Trailing edge dimmers offer several advantages over leading edge dimmers, such as less flickering, smoother control, soft start, and silent operation. As LED lighting becomes more prevalent, the trailing edge dimmer is the better choice.

In response to user feedback, we have included an independent WiFi pairing button on our smart switches, which simplifies the WiFi connection process. Additionally, the calibration knob on our switches allows users to adjust the minimum brightness and reduce flickering issues for different LED bulbs.

Our smart switches also offer the ability to schedule automatic dimming, where you can create a schedule to gradually change the brightness from, say, 1% to 100% over a specific time period. This can be a one-time or repeating schedule.

Furthermore, our switches are compatible with Alexa and Google Home, allowing users to control their lights using voice commands. The accompanying SmartLife app, available on both Android and iOS, provides remote control, smart home automation, and scheduling capabilities.

From a compatibility standpoint, our switches are well-suited for LED bulbs, offering a smooth and quiet dimming experience with touch or swipe control.

The switches are made of ABS+PC plastic, which is fire-rated, structurally sound, and designed to maintain its color for up to 10 years. They also feature a customizable night light and are Alexa-enabled.
